Just so it is clear...this is a tiny book, like 'size of your palm' sized book..that's the point. Sort of like those miniature books you see while waiting in line at a Barnes & Noble or something, really you are most likely purchasing this for the novelty value (which is why I did), and probably because it's cute/ provides a decent amount of information on the subject. However, if you need some in depth, and I'm talking IN DEPTH info on tea leaf reading, you sort of made a mistake purchasing this, and assuming to get that in this size of a book. This is a fun little book, I used to own a few random ones on various topics as a child i.e: astrology, feng shui, etc. so I figured I would pick something similar up. Really cute though, and it comes with a little min dust cover.

I love this. It's very small and I knew what I ordered. Don't expect anything else if you order one. I bought it as part of a set of miniature books and together they're amazingly adorable. Hardcover book with a dust cover.

It sounds like he nearly memorized the book.However, all potential employers in his area (southern Florida)want 3-5 years of experience, which he has notbeen able to achieve - no one apparently wants an apprentice or helper without years of hands-on.Since this text was required for his class and specified by the experienced teacher, I presume it is very good.It is simply not very helpful all on its own.

I'm starting a career in HVAC and my instructor is using this book for the class! I'm already steps ahead of the other students because the illustrations and easy-to-read format allows me to sink right in and next thing you know, I'm several pages deep into studying. I can't say how much this book is providing me with valuable insight in the HVAC trades, all the rest of the books on HVAC aren't as colorful and make the technical information hurt my head. seriously! Although, ultimately, there is no satisfactory alternative to experimental measurement, it is not always convenient or practicable to make the necessary measure­ ments and calculations. Moreover, the massive pK. compilations currently available provide values for only a small fraction of known or possible acids or bases. For example, the compilations listed in Section 1. 3 give pK. data for some 6 000--8 000 acids, whereas if the conservative estimate is made that there are one hundred different substituent groups available to substitute in the benzene ring of benzoic acid, approximately five million tri-substituted benzoic acids are theoretically possible. Thus we have long felt that it is useful to consider methods by which a pK. value might be predicted as an interim value to within several tenths of a pH unit using arguments based on linear free energy relationships, by analogy, by extrapolation, by interpolation from existing data, or in some other way. This degree of precision may be adequate for many purposes such as the recording of spectra of pure species (as anion, neutral molecule or cation), for selection of conditions favourable to solvent extraction, and for the interpretation of pH-profiles for organic reactions.

Freberg (Ph.D., UCLA) is Professor of Psychology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she teaches courses in Introductory Psychology, Biological Psychology, and Sensation and Perception. Dr. Freberg's teaching career began when she taught her first college course at Pasadena City College at the age of 23. To better understand the needs of the online education community, she also teaches a variety of psychology courses for Argosy University Online. Laura has received Faculty Member of the Year recognition from Cal Poly Disabilities Resource Center three times (1991, 1994, and 2009) for her work with students with disabilities. She enjoys using technology and social media in the classroom, and is a Google Glass Explorer.
